Equipment Guarantee Information
Dear Customer,
We are sorry to hear that you have experienced a fault with our equipment.
We would be pleased to consider your guarantee claim.
Please follow these steps:
- Fill out the guarantee claim form in full. The claim must be made within 45 days of the fault occurring.
- If the claim refers to an engine defect, please check with us first if we can deal with the claim. Some engine manufacturers require work to be carried out at their service centers, in which case we will help you to contact the manufacturers’ closest engine service center.
- If the claim refers to a manufacturing fault in MQ CIPSA equipment, please print the form and visit one of MQ CIPSA’s Authorized Service Centers.
Please remember to attach the copy of the equipment sales invoice, as without it your claim cannot be validated.
- If there is no Authorized Service Center near your location, please print out your form and take it to the CIPSA distributor who sold you the equipment.
- As applicable, the Authorized Service Center or CIPSA will request the return of the damaged parts or photographs of them.
- Once the required information has been gathered to decide on the claim, the Authorized Service Center or CIPSA will give a reply within 7 days.
- The distributor’s guarantee period is 180 days, from the date on which the equipment is sold by the distributor to the end user.
- Parts used for regular maintenance of the equipment such as oils, fuels, spark plugs, filters, fan belts are not covered by guarantee.
