CONSORCIO is a successful family run company currently being managed by members of its second and third generation; it manufactures a wide range of construction equipment solutions for the North, Central and South American markets.

Te company was founded in 1950 as a manufacturer of small cement mixers. During the 1970´s and 1980´s the company expanded rapidly thanks to an aggressive strategy for the Mexican market and by signing agreements with the leading companies in Europe (Dynapac, Hiab) and the USA (McNeilus) for the sale and production of compaction machines, cranes and mixers for the Mexican market.

In the early 1990s, the company entered into a strategic alliance with Multiquip (leader in sales of light construction equipment in the USA) for the manufacture and export of cement mixing trucks destined for the North American and Canadian markets. The success of this partnership helped the company to become the number one manufacturer of these two products in America in 10 years.
